A minimal verification process is employed, necessitating the participation of five to ten verifiers for each research. This approach is designed to maintain rigor while expediting the verification process. A paper attains verified status when a consensus ratio of confirmed to rejected verifications reaches thresholds such as 5:1, 6:2, or 7:3.

Crucially, the identity of verifiers remains confidential, shielding them from undue influence or bias. This anonymity ensures an impartial evaluation process, fortified by the collective judgment of multiple verifiers.

To manage the verification load equitably and maintain standards, a verifier is restricted to assessing a maximum of ten works within a 24-hour span. Verifiers champion the reliability of the information disseminated within the TRL Alliance/Science system.

There are three roles in the TRL CEI system: researchers, converters, and verifiers.

Anyone can be a researcher by simply posting a paper on the platform.

The role of a converter is assigned by the administrator. Converters are granted two additional actions:

Applications: This action indicates that the converter is interested in a particular research paper and may attempt to translate the research into practical applications. When this happens, the researcher is notified.
